PAPER
The paper used in the studio is a bookmaking paper. We no longer sell paper by mail, but you may find it in some art stores, or from a local suplier. You can purchase Vellum Bristol Cover 80 lb online from The Papermill Store. The original size is 26 x 40, which we cut to 26 x 20.

BRUSHES
The fine brushes we are using are made in France by Isabey using a centuries-old process. We are told that Isabey brush makers apprentice for six years to produce these exceptionally durable watercolor brushes. Each brush is made by hand! If well cared for, they will last for many years — more than making up for the cost of continually replacing cheap brushes that wear out or leave hairs all over your painting.
